Tadpole 1

In this course, you and your child will be learning some of the basics of acclimating to a pool environment. You will learn how to safely interact with your child in the water including appropriate support techniques, as well as how to encourage activity in the water through active participation. Your child will receive an introduction to basic water skills that will lay the foundation for learning to swim. Parents and children will also be introduced to American Red Cross water safety topics.

Tadpole 2

In this course, you and your child will be expanding on some of the basics of acclimating to a pool environment and building strength through practice. You will review appropriate support techniques, as well as how to encourage activity in the water through active participation. We will begin focusing on submerging under water and breath holding as well as building strength and treading water. Your child will expand on some basic water skills they already know and build their muscle memory and buoyancy skills further. Parents and children will also be introduced to American Red Cross water safety topics.

Tadpole 3

In this course, you and your child will be perfecting the basics of swimming and building strength through practice. Your child will work on swimming unassisted, submerging and breath holding. Your child will expand on some basic water skills they already know and build their muscle memory and buoyancy skills further. This class will give them the best start to learning to swim and will prepare them for what’s to come in the Baby Sharks class. Parents and children will also be introduced to American Red Cross water safety topics.
